This was so fun to read in my "hometown" paper. I met Mr. Lovelace in 1960 when they moved to Fergus Falls. Same year my family moved there and his daughter Shirlee Lovelace became my best friend. I have many wonderful memories of the Lovelace family and I remember Mr. Lovelace as one of the kindest and most patient of people. I also loved to spend time at their Lake Cottage on Blanche Lake in the summer time. I learned to waterski because of Mr. Lovelace's patience! Shirlee and I had such wonderful times. Those memories make me wish for a time machine!

Penny, Lynn, Margie, Lisa, Mardys, Carol, Fran, DeeDee, Lisa, Debbie, Char, Vivian.......we were all at the Beth Moore Simulcast that included Travis Cottrell and his praise team.

Beth's teaching was on Psalm 37. Key verse: "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

We were meant to be there these two days!

And this week they had another anniversary. Dutch and I sure love and enjoy this couple and their family!

Nieces and Nephews Make The Day!

My niece, Heather and her children: Gabby is 13. Joseph is 12. Jacob is 9. I so hope I have their ages right! It was a fun day of swimming and pizza. They are the nicest kids to be around! It was so enjoyable to have some time with them. That was Friday. But today is their day. They are in Santa Cruz for a couple of days and the excitement and anticipation of their trip was contagious! The Boardwalk - the Beach - they could hardly contain themselves with the anticipation. Just hearing them makes me say "I want to go too!"
