This was so fun to read in my "hometown" paper. I met Mr. Lovelace in 1960 when they moved to Fergus Falls. Same year my family moved there and his daughter Shirlee Lovelace became my best friend. I have many wonderful memories of the Lovelace family and I remember Mr. Lovelace as one of the kindest and most patient of people. I also loved to spend time at their Lake Cottage on Blanche Lake in the summer time. I learned to waterski because of Mr. Lovelace's patience! Shirlee and I had such wonderful times. Those memories make me wish for a time machine!
